Frequently asked questions
Can Java and Bedrock players play together?
Not on one server by default. Pick Java for PC players with mods and plugins, or Bedrock if your friends play on phones and consoles.
Can I run a CurseForge or Modrinth modpack?
Yes. Choose Forge, NeoForge or Fabric to match the pack. Large packs need the bigger plans.
How many players can join?
We do not limit slots. RAM is what limits a server, so pick a bigger plan for big groups and modpacks.
How is this different from free hosts?
Free hosts put your server to sleep, queue you behind others and share memory. Your Bytenests server stays online with RAM reserved for it.
