Point the domain at your hosting
Open the hosting account’s DNS tab. For each website it lists the records your hosting needs (Should be) next to what public DNS returns now (Found). Set any missing records where your DNS is hosted, then choose Check again.
Domain registered with ByteNests: DNS is managed here, and Edit DNS records takes you to the domain’s DNS editor.
Domain registered elsewhere: add the records at your domain provider. Usually that is an A record for the domain and one for www.
DNS changes usually show up within minutes, but can take up to the record’s TTL to reach everyone.
Subdomains
On the Domains tab, Add subdomain creates for example blog.example.com under an existing site. A subdomain gets its own folder, PHP version and SSL certificate.
SSL certificates
Free certificates come from Let’s Encrypt and renew themselves every 90 days. The SSL tab shows each site’s certificate, issuer and expiry.
Make sure the domain and www point to the hosting server (see the DNS tab). Let’s Encrypt checks this before it issues.
Choose Issue free certificate. It can take a few minutes.
Turn on Force HTTPS to send http:// visitors to https://.
