Group resources into projects, invite people and choose what each of them can do.

Projects

A project groups VMs and custom images. Pick or create one with + New Project in the project picker when you create a VM. Custom images are only offered to VMs in the same project, and managed databases accept private connections from VMs in the same project.

Invite people

Open Settings → Team and choose Invite member.

Enter their email address and pick a role.

They get an email invitation. Pending invitations are listed on the same page, where you can revoke them.

Roles

Owner: Everything, including billing. One per account.

Admin: Manage resources and members.

Member: Create and edit resources.

Viewer: Read-only access.

The owner can change anyone’s role, remove members and transfer ownership. After a transfer, the old owner becomes an admin. The owner has to transfer ownership before they can leave the account.

Leaving an account

Members can leave an account from Settings → Team. The resources stay in the account for everyone else; you need a new invitation to join again.
