Website analytics without cookies, banners or third parties
The new Traffic tab in web hosting counts visitors from your server logs. Nothing is added to your site and nothing is sent to anyone else.
Most analytics tools work by adding a script to your pages that reports each visit to another company. That means a cookie banner, slower pages, and missing numbers whenever an ad blocker is on. Hosting on ByteNests now has a simpler option.
Counted from the server
Your hosting server already logs every request it answers. The Traffic tab in your hosting account reads those logs and turns them into visitors, page views, bandwidth, top pages, referrers, countries, devices and browsers, busy hours, response codes, bots and the most requested missing pages.
Because the count happens on the server, there is nothing to install on your site and ad blockers cannot hide visits.
Private by design
Everything runs on our servers. Nothing is sent to Google or any other company.
IP addresses are never stored. Each visitor becomes a random code that changes every day.
You choose who sees the numbers: only you, your team, or your team plus a read-only share link.
You choose how long detailed data is kept, from 30 days to 2 years, and you can download it as CSV or delete it.
Optional: a small script for more detail
Server logs cannot see how long someone stays on a page or how big their screen is. If you want those, turn on the optional script. It is under 2 KB, sets no cookies and stores nothing in the browser.
Alerts that are worth reading
Turn on email alerts for traffic spikes and broken links, and a weekly summary every Monday. Leave out bots, your own IP addresses and paths such as /wp-admin/* so the numbers reflect real visitors.
